(04 Jul to 17 Aug)

Summary
This is the second run of the event from last year; however, it is much shorter as the quest count has dropped from 55 to 44 for this year. It is a Bejeweled/Candy Crush-esque game and will require you to align blocks of the same color so they can be removed. This purpose is to cause Paw Prints to descend and drop off the game board for collecting a Grand Prize. Tickets are also required to play the mini game where you will use the other event currency, Coins, for extra Moves or Tools to collect Paw Prints.
Daily Specials (with a DS Swap!) are showcasing the usual line up and includes a new building called the Insect Hotel and it looks as if the Winnerâs Plaza and Botanical Rotunda will be making a showing. Most importantly, last yearâs grand prize, the Mountain Reserve, showed up in Beta twice. You will get your crack at a Daily Special when removing 5 or more blocks of the same color.
The Grand Prize is the Animal Crossing which at Level 9 will offer 10 FP and an Att-Att boost. This year also showcases a League which you will be ranked by clearing tiles, getting chests and Paw Prints.
Event Play
You will acquire Coins (#1) and Tickets (see event banner or event window for inventory) by completing the event quests, logging into your world, or discover them in city Incidents (or by spending Diamonds).
- You will start the event with 4 Tickets (maximum) and 1 Ticket will be generated every 8 hours.
- Coins will be used to purchase Tools (#3) or Moves (#2) that will help you gather more prizes in the mini-game.
The playing Area (#6) will be accessed by using Tickets (see Event banner or window for inventory) and consists of the game board which that you will need to work in order to vertically and/or horizontally align similar colored blocks in order to remove them to receive prizes. Each game "level" consists of 25 Moves (#2) unless you decide to spend Coins for additional moves.
As you align blocks of the same color, you will discover:
- To remove blocks, you must have a minimum of 2 blocks of the same color to be touching to remove them.
- If 5 or more blocks are touching, they will become a Reward Chest when you click them. The Reward Chest will be placed on the block you click.
- Reward Chests have a rating of 1 Stars (5 blocks touching) to 5 Stars (9 blocks touching). Each Reward chest color variant will provide their own unique smaller prize with Star rating determining the chance of receiving a Daily Special (#4) â or swap it for an alternative Daily Special if so desired. If you elect to switch the Daily Special, you will be given one from the random pool noted below. There is no undo button once the switch is made.
You will also have Tools available to help you along the way. The tools are:
- The Hammer will remove a single block from the game board.
- A Windmill will convert the color of the neighboring blocks that touch the clicked block.
- Lightning removes all blocks of the color of the clicked block.

Notes and Tips
Here are some hints, but I highly encourage you watch the videos for a better understanding and an improved outcome.
- Playing the mini-game will be time intensive as you are limited on the number of Moves you will have for each level so you will want to mentally PLAN AHEAD your moves before commitment.
- This Grand Prize is not too shabby but the Eagle Mountain from the Mountain Selection Kits is one of the best in the game (and it will be available in the AD after the event), FOCUS on GETTING the Paw Prints. Given this situation, keep the Wildlife Ticket counter empty so it is constantly refilling for more chances at Paw Prints. The trade-off here is for going for a Daily Special - that is, don't do any quest rushing until there is a Daily Special you want so you can quickly gather as many Wildlife Ticket's as you can so it leaves the Ticket counter empty the rest of the time. The purpose being the timer is ticking to refill it because you can only have a maximum of 4 Tickets.
- Do NOT open your mystery box from the previous event until after you have secured the Level 1 Reserve from the quests.
